Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as using or purchasing from our website means you agree to them.
1.Payment
All prices on shweshwelovers.co.uk are in pound sterling and all products will remain our
property until we have received payment in full for those products you ordered. shweshwe lovers is not a VAT registered business. No VAT is charged on any items.
We accept payments through PayPal. PayPal is the worlds largest online payment system, through PayPal all your financial details are secured to an industry standard and best practice. PayPal handle your financial details on your behalf, then when the funds are confirmed we are notified and will proceed through our normal purchasing procedures.
We also accept cheques drawn on a UK bank. Please make the cheque payable to shweshwe lovers. We will dispatch your fabric as soon as the cheque has been cleared.
2. Delivery - UK orders
We deliver free within the UK through Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Your fabric is usually dispatched within one working day of receipt of payment. Please allow 2-3 days for the goods to reach you.
A signature will be required on delivery of the fabric to you. You can specify a workplace address at checkout. Receipt of a signature at the delivery address will be proof that the order has been delivered to you.
Delivery - Europe and Overseas orders
We welcome customers from Europe and Overseas. Please contact us (hello@shweshwelovers.co.uk) for shipping costs. Please be aware that your order may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs clearance charges. Please check the policy in your country prior to ordering. As we have no control over these charges they will have to be covered by you.
3.Out of stock
Shweshwe fabric is made to order – with limited amounts of fabric produced each half year. If the item you ordered is out of stock we will inform you immediately and refund any payments you may have already made.
4.Privacy Policy
When you place an order with shweshwe lovers the information you provide will be
kept confidential. We do not store or have access to your credit/debit card details.
We will not forward any of your personal information for marketing purposes to
any other company.
5. Returns
We hope you’re happy with your shweshwe fabric! As the fabric is cut to measure to your order unfortunately we cannot accept returns. If you are unsure which fabric to order have a look at our offer to purchase small sample swatches for the whole range. If for any reason the fabric is damaged you should contact us to arrange for a replacement or a refund which will be sent to you on the receipt of the returned fabric.
6. General
· When placing an order with shweshwe lovers, you are making an offer to purchase the goods contained within that order. We reserve the right to accept or decline that offer.
· We do our utmost to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are correct. However we reserve the right to alter prices from time to time without notice.
· We have attempted to display the goods on the site as accurately and fairly as possible but are subject to the available reproduction techniques.
· These terms and conditions may be subject to change without any prior notice to you.
· These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
· This website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the websites. We have no responsibility for the content of the linked websites.
7. Liability
· Nothing in these terms and conditions is to be taken to exclude or restrict rights granted to you by law in respect of goods supplied.
· We do not accept responsibility for damage to goods caused by you.
· We will not be liable to any person for damage or loss arising from the use of goods advertised on our site.
· Without prejudice to your statutory rights the information contained in this site is provided without warranty and in particular we do not represent or warrant that the information is accurate, complete or current or that the use of this site will be uninterrupted or error free.
· We will not be responsible for claims relating to the availability of our range, our ecommerce engine, our website, place of purchase or the success or level of sales resulting from these.
· We will endeavour to ensure that the goods are delivered by any delivery date estimated by us but we cannot guarantee that goods will be delivered by that date. You agree that we will not be liable to you for any loss, damage or charge incurred because of the late delivery of goods.
· The risk of damage to the goods passes to you once they are delivered to the address specified in your instructions.
